[16:07:28] <✦[rp] Doc> Yes, I usually made tea back when I still lived in my world, and I'm glad I can still do it

[16:07:54] <✦[rp] Doc> You can sit wherever you like, but the kitchen is over here

[Doc begins to meditatively make tea, the Wizard twitters on about everything and nothing]

[16:08:31] <✦[rp] Doc> It does seem to be quite stormy today. Good for the plants

[16:08:47] <✦[rp] The Wizard> Very good! I will say, I miss having all the greenery around me, but the mesa's not too bad for it

[16:09:09] <✦[rp] The Wizard> It's a cozy place out here, I will admit I am a tad bit jealous of that

[16:10:11] <✦[rp] The Wizard> Unfortunately no, they grow well there but no blossoms.

[16:11:08] <✦[rp] The Wizard> I'll need to make better use of Verdigris's greenhouse, maybe try to cultivate something

[16:11:05] <✦[rp] Doc> Do you know why they don't blossom?

[16:11:14] <✦[rp] The Wizard> No, I'm not sure

[16:11:36] <✦[rp] The Wizard> It could be the climate we're in, could be the time of year, lots of different factors

[16:12:04] <✦[rp] The Wizard> Personally I'm more familiar with prairie and tropical foliage, along with mycelium and other mushrooms

[16:12:51] <✦[rp] Doc> Yes, I grew all the plants around the area. I made a bit of a hedge maze out in front as well

[16:13:46] <✦[rp] The Wizard> I had to say I was noticing how lush the area is, maybe if this rain lets up you can take me on a better tour of the grounds

[Doc brings out a platter of tea, and the Wizard follows behind him, marveling at every little detail of the garden]

[16:20:00] <✦[rp] Doc> Thank you, I've had a lot of time to work on it

[Doc passes under a small trellis, and leads the two into a small area with outdoor furniture, two comfortable looking chairs, and a table with a cake on it]

[16:25:53] <✦[rp] Doc> I did not know I was running and so I tried to give the worst answers but then Flick got nervous and backed out

[16:33:35] <✦[rp] Doc> It was an experiment I was doing at home that went wrong. There was a power surge and the next thing I knew, I woke up on that little island

[16:34:12] <✦[rp] The Wizard> Strange you ended up here with us like that

[16:34:23] <✦[rp] The Wizard> Especially since, as far as I know, you haven't tangled too hard with the Unknown

[16:34:33] <✦[rp] Doc> Not that I'm aware of

[16:35:41] <✦[rp] Doc> It was incredibly different. The issue I'm having is that I can't remember a lot about the specifications of what I was doing when the accident happened

[16:36:45] <✦[rp] The Wizard> You mentioned working on a way to get home, have you had any developments?

[16:37:12] <✦[rp] Doc> Since I can't remember how I did it the first time, I can't replicate it to get back home. I don't even know if it would work like that. But yes, I am working on something currently

[Doc leads the Wizard out of the garden and back inside to the mansion. The two of them enter the living room, where a fire crackles in the hearth. Doc approaches the paneled wall on right of the fireplace, and with practiced motions, he rotates a hidden knob in the walls, and a hidden passage opens on the other side, leading into a secret room behind. The two enter, and drop down a chute into an underground area dug out by hand. Doc grabs a torch and leads the way down a narrow passage that eventually opens into a massive natural cave system and an overworld lava lake that has been partially turned to obsidian. In the center is a constructed portal made up of crying obsidian, along with other materials. A line of redstone leads to it from the wall across the obsidian floor]

[Doc furrows his brow, somewhat tired of the small talk]

[The Wizard is slightly caught off guard, but recovers quickly]
