[Prince jogs up the steps of the building as Ion trails behind.]

[Ion’s face screws up as she nods, understanding.]

[Prince pushes open the door to Ollie’s house.]

[Prince begins going through cupboards and looking under seat cushions as Ion tiptoes inside. He notices the animals inside and brightens.]

[Prince looks up, turning over the nametags on the allays.]

[Ion pokes through drawers.]
[The Wizard approaches from the woods, having just come from the Nether. He walks up the stairs, and notices with a furrowed brow that both of the front doors are wide open. He speaks up.]

[Prince walks over from the interior hearing the Wizard’s voice.]
[18:25:23] <✦[rp] Prince> who the fuck
[18:25:29] <✦[rp] The Wizard> Prince?!

[At the same time: ]

[The Wizard steps in cautiously after him, peering around the interior.]

[Prince starts checking the furnaces, tearing through the house as Ion and the Wizard talk.]

[Ion can’t quite meet the Wizard’s eyes as he asks them questions.]

[The Wizard starts browsing through books on Ollie’s bookshelf.]

[The Wizard pulls a book off of the shelf, where a compartment opens up, revealing Null inside, laying on a soft wool blanket.]

[The Wizard holds Null in his hands. Prince whispers over to Ion.]

[Ion gestures at their sword. The points of red light behind Prince’s glasses seem to brighten as he whips out his own sword.]

[The Wizard backs up, materializing his shield onto his arm in a whirl of wispy purple mist.]
[18:46:07] <✦[rp] The Wizard> Not in the house, at least!
[18:46:09] <✦[rp] Ion> not with the magic birds
[Prince shrugs as Ion and the Wizard start moving to the front porch. The Wizard holds Null in one arm and the shield in the other.]

[18:46:47] <✦[rp] The Wizard> But I don't exactly trust you two with it
[18:46:53] <✦[rp] The Wizard> And I know you'll kill me either way so-

[The Wizard hands Null to Prince. Ion and the Wizard wait as Prince starts manipulating Null. His arm disassembles into a multitude of small tentacles that caress and crawl over Null.]

[The Wizard wrinkles his nose.]
[18:50:04] <✦[rp] The Wizard> Void I was afraid you were gonna get it all sculky

[Various beeping and booping noises suddenly seem to emanate from the area around Prince, until it becomes apparent that Null is silent, and that Prince is just making the noises to himself.]

[Prince clicks a button. A latch opens, and a small screen with a keyboard pops out of one of the panels.]

[18:51:48] <✦[rp] Prince> okay now we're getting somewhere
[The Wizard sighs.]
[18:51:50] <✦[rp] The Wizard> Okay, I could've told you how to do that
[18:51:55] <✦[rp] Ion> shhh its cool
[The Wizard furrows his brow.]

[The Wizard steps forward, leaning over Prince’s shoulder to help with the interface. He presses a button.]

[Prince pulls back.]

[18:52:21] <✦[rp] The Wizard> Opening the keyboard is the easy part!

[Prince huffs.]

[The Wizard sighs. He leans back over Prince’s shoulder, watching him work. He leaves Prince alone for a few minutes before quietly suggesting advice.]

[Prince presses a few more buttons that gradually unfolds various machinery that don’t seem like things that should be able to fit in Null. A mini satellite dish, a second screen with a keyboard, a solar panel, and other tiny gadgets. None of them seem to be the thing that Prince needs.]

It glimmer with a mixture of red and purple, like veins of redstone have eaten through the amethyst, and on a closer inspection, that’s exactly what’s happened.]
