[23:24:34] ✦[rp] Joco Serious: Apologies for the hidden attendance, I wasn't formally invited but got curious

[23:24:55] ✦[rp] The Wizard: I think anyone would be pretty curious about big things happening in another faction

[The two head over to Corroded together, the Wizard taking off in flight, and Joco close behind on the nether path.]

[They arrive at the Sheriff’s Office, and the Wizard holds the door open for Joco]

[They head up into the Wizard’s apartment together. The Wizard gestures to the seats at the small table in the center of the room.]

[23:25:53] ✦[rp] Joco Serious: I've been a bit absent as of late, head in the dirt and rocks

[The Wizard empties his kettle, fills it with water, and puts it on one of the furnaces.]

[23:26:19] ✦[rp] The Wizard: I suppose I've been gone as well, sort of just flying around at the outskirts of Verdigris-

[He digs through the cupboard looking for cups]

[23:26:46] ✦[rp] Joco Serious: Misplaced mugs have been the bane of my existence one too many times

[23:26:30] ✦[rp] Joco Serious: I was going stir crazy with no decent tasks, and thus gave myself a bit too many isolating jobs

[The Wizard bustles around in the kitchen before he realizes that he’s left a dragon head on the table, he scoops it off.]

[The Wizard returns to the kitchen to take the kettle off of the furnace.]

[There is a small lull in conversation, as the Wizard puts two tea bags in each large mug, a pours boiling water over the top]

[23:27:59] ✦[rp] Joco Serious: Oh, I didn't catch too much. Some tidbits about moss eatin'

[23:28:09] ✦[rp] Joco Serious: Neither candidate wanting the role

[The Wizard brings over the two mugs, and takes a seat across from Joco]

[23:28:56] ✦[rp] Joco Serious: So they're trying a democracy and completely failing. Amazing.

[23:29:22] ✦[rp] The Wizard: But I suppose most fledgling democracies end up stuttering a bit anyway

[23:29:22] ✦[rp] Joco Serious: I would say I'm surprised, but a direct democracy in such a small community, only 8 members, it's bound to fail.

[23:30:15] ✦[rp] The Wizard: Yes, but besides that, just a normal debate between two people who don't seem entirely keen on a presidency

[23:30:20] ✦[rp] Joco Serious: We've managed to figure out the fact that perhaps, a small group of scattered individuals wouldn't need a leader, and would in fact be hard pressed to find a decent one

[23:30:48] ✦[rp] Joco Serious: Presidency over, what, half a dozen folk?

[23:30:48] ✦[rp] The Wizard: I think we're also made up of those who've lived without masters for so long they don't need them anymore

[23:31:27] ✦[rp] Joco Serious: The server I was on previous had some towns with mayors, but their positions were mostly ceremonial,
